Enhancing the innovations of the converting sector: this was the main goal of the 2023 edition of Tissue World, one of the most important international events dedicated to the paper industry, held in Düsseldorf from March 28-30. Pulsar Engineering participated in it among the more than 120 exhibitors.
The just-concluded event was an opportunity to meet in presence the main players in the tissue industry from more than 80 countries the world over and to present to the market one of the major innovations recently introduced by Pulsar Engineering: ANTARES.
It is an innovative technology, unique in the tissue industry: a completely modular system that, through a series of scalable and coupled elements, makes possible packaging process automation solutions, with highly customized configurations.
Antares can stack, orient, fill, pack, layer and palletize products in a very flexible way, with a single system and without many of the constraints of the machines available on the market today.
Antares enables tissue operators to benefit from many advantages, including:
• Providing a modular system, flexible and easily configurable to match market need variations;
• Flexible output with different kind of packaging (poly film, pre-made bags, carton boxes, etc.);
• An increase in machine availability thanks to the transition from traditional, mainly mechanical, technology to robotics.
• Reduction of changeover times
• Reduction of the impact of the human factor on the process
• Flexible configuration of the bundles, due to the orientation in 2 directions (optimization of the pallet layers)
• Increased stability of pallets, with adaptation to the needs of automatic warehouses
• Possibility of managing even simultaneous packaging in plastic film / bags and cardboard boxes with the same machine
• Reduction of foot print, in combination with the palletizing area
• Reduction investment in palletizing device
• Quality control during all the process
During the exhibition, there was also a great attention on folded products and nonwovens: Pulsar Engineering is able to meet these sector’s needs with tailor-made handling and converting customized solutions based on customer's needs and engineered by a team with a high level of expertise.
The Düsseldorf exhibition included more than 40 conferences and seminars on the main converting industry trends, including innovations about materials, digital technologies and production processes, with a focus on the global challenges on environment and sustainability: we has always paid attention on those issues, supporting our customers in choosing smart solutions to best manage process efficiency in a safe, flexible and sustainable way.
Thanks to many meetings and business opportunities, Tissue World was an opportunity for networking and as well as an occasion to create new partnerships and new projects.
