Packs Rotating Units
To ensure optimal pack rotation as often as necessary before entering the downstream machine, Pulsar Engineering can install special pack rotating on the line, available in different configurations to meet different handling needs.
The pack rotating unit is a group that allows the pack to be given a 90° rotation around a vertical axis, typically employed in the following contexts:
- At the exit from film wrapping machines to orient the product, with a predominantly transverse development, aligning the largest dimension with the direction of the conveyor feed;
- In front of handle machines to impart the correct orientation of the package within the handle machine before entering the handling machine;
- On exit from handle machines to restore the correct orientation of the package along the conveyance as it exits the handling machine.
Available in different variants according to customer requirements:
- Fixed roller pack rotating unit: used downstream of packaging machines, it orients the package by advancing it with the short side facing the conveying direction;
- Double belt pack rotating unit: allows the rotation of the package due to the different speeds of the two belts implemented;
- Combined pack rotating unit: represents the perfect combination of a fixed roller pack rotating unitr and a double belt pack rotating unit, allowing the package to be rotated 180 degrees through the combined action of both units.
