Guide Units
Guide units (also called containment guides) are units that have been studied and applied to guide and contain the product to be transported on conveyors.
They are alternative and sometimes interchangeable with standard catalogue supports and guides, but they have been designed to make format changeover easier, faster and safer, as well as correct advancement of the product along the conveyor.
To speed up and manage format changes on the line in just a few steps, Pulsar Engineering provides its adjustable guides in manual, semi-automatic or automatic versions.
The manual guide units may be further divided into two categories:
- manual with one sole adjustment point (for every guide point) for both sides of the conveyor;
- completely independent on both sides of the conveyor.
Semi-automatic adjustable guides make it possible to adjust by means of a handwheel the guides on the line from a single point up to 9 meters in length from 1 to 5 ways, even in curves, significantly increasing the speed in format changeover compared to standard solutions.
Pulsar Engineering adjustable guides can be installed on any line, even existing ones, from any supplier.
Sometimes the containment guides can be made from inox material so that they may be used in the food and pharmaceutical industries.
