To ensure that products destined for sale are conform to requirements, Pulsar Engineering provides its customers with a Quality Inspection System, called QUATIS, which can monitor the conformity of wrapped and unwrapped products on the line, with the possibility of ejecting those that do not conform.
Thanks to the QUATIS system, it is possible to increase the level of quality perceived by the end customer and avoid the possibility of return from organized distribution players due to product nonconformity.
Any detected nonconforming product is also accounted for, identified and classified for statistical purposes without stopping production.
In addition to conformity verification, the quality inspection systems made by Pulsar Engineering also enable a series of statistical analyses by exploiting IoT technologies to determine the frequency and causes of nonconformities, which are crucial for analyzing and controlling the quality of the production process, without operator involvement.
The main advantages of installing a quality inspection machine, in tissue production, are:
- Reduction or elimination of nonconformities based on pre-defined parameters;
- Increase in perceived quality by the end user;
- Increase in OEE between 3 and 5 %.
